Standard Treatment
Up to 10 psychology sessions per individual per calendar year, subject to General Practitioner (GP) approval, are eligible for $141-85 rebate under Medicare Better Access provisions for treatment of mental health conditions. To access rebate, a referral letter and Mental Health Care Plan from your GP is required initially.
Eating Disorder Treatment (Gaby Meadley only)
Up to 40 psychology sessions for a 12-month period, subject to General Practitioner (GP) approval, plus Psychiatrist Review within first 20 sessions, are eligible for $141-85 rebate under Medicare Better Access provisions for treatment of Eating Disorders. To access rebate, a referral letter and Eating Disorder Management Plan from your GP is required initially.
Sessions that are not rebated by Medicare may be partly covered by private health insurance. Please check with your provider to determine eligibility.
